In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to make up silly songs in 5th grade gym class. I can still remember how much joy it brought me when the whole class would be singing those songs on the way to lunch afterward. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? HAIM, Women In Music Pt. III Hayley Williams, FLOWERS for VASES / descansos SZA, Ctrl It's SO HARD to pick favorite albums because I love so many, but these three were hugely influential to me in the summer of 2021. I feel like I started writing my best music ever after hearing these records; they changed my songwriter brain. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Deadline” It always feels weird listening to your own music as an artist, but Deadline is a song that I truly love listening to. From the clean production to the rhyme-loaded lyrics to the rhythmic melodies, it never gets old to me, and I love performing it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Every time I finish a project, the next thing on my bucket list is to make another project. There are goals along the way, but what drives me is making the art and telling a story that impacts people.
