In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up I sang in my church's children's choir. One day, at rehearsal, we were learning a new song and I was the loudest singer. The choir director stopped playing the piano mid-song, pointed at me, and declared that he'd found his soloist. All This Love takes me back to my childhood, while The Loop and Patrice offers home grown soul, sounds that go beneath the surface.
