K.T. Oslin

About K.T. Oslin

Though she began her career by collaborating with New Depression godfather Guy Clark, K.T. Oslin found her greatest success with a highly polished pop-country sound. An over-40-year-old woman releasing synthesizer-based records replete with feminist lyrical themes, she was an anomaly on the '80s country music landscape, but she paved the way for new millennium Nashville divas Shania Twain and Faith Hill. A Grammy winner and author of hit songs for many other artists, Oslin is also an accomplished actress, appearing both on the Broadway stage and in several Hollywood movies.
