Led by Berklee-trained trumpeter/vocalist Kelley B. and Jamaican singer Errol Strength, Hot Like Fire play a mix of roots reggae and soca. Founded in 1989, the Massachusetts-based sextet also incorporates into their contemporary Caribbean sound soul, hip-hop, and R&B, all of which are evident on their self-titled CD. ~ Wade Kergan
