In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. While growing up in Nigeria, I remember writing and creating songs at my family home from as young as 7 years old, and performing them to my friends. When I moved to the UK, I would sing songs with my friends and 'busk' for fun in school! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, b7 Jazmine Sullivan, Reality Show Rukhsana Merrise, Child O’Today I really enjoy the talent that each of these women possess. The writing is incredible and I feel like I can relate to the words. I also chose these 3 albums as they are genuinely just 'good music'. I can listen to the albums on repeat. Tell us why you chose this song. “Try Not to Fall in Love (Interlude)” I enjoy writing songs that are 'straight to the point', so I enjoy interlude's a lot. This song was one of the first songs which I recorded that I believe helped showcase my vocal range and a more vulnerable writing style. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2023 I was recognised as an "Artist to Watch" by Sofar Sounds London. This was a very memorable experience, as I went from being a viewer of their shows online, to becoming one of their celebrated artists. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely! A headline show! A tour even. Who knows?
