About Cole Vosbury

Pop singer and multi-instrumentalist Cole Vosbury was born April 29, 1991 in Shreveport, Louisiana and spent his childhood in a musical family (his grandmother was country singer Juanita Morris Zahn aka Little Miss Nita Lynn, while his father, Robin Vosbury, and uncle, Keith Vosbury, were both well-known Louisiana musicians). Vosbury began his performing career in nursing homes at the age of three, and was singing in churches in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas by the time he was five years old. Along the way he learned to play guitar, drums, bass, and piano. His big break came when he was a contestant on the fifth season of NBC's The Voice in 2013, where his instrumental versatility and ability to infuse any song in any style with a kind of sweet country funkiness made him a fan favorite. Although he was not the eventual winner, he made it to the semifinals, and six of the singles drawn from his Voice performances hit the Billboard download chart, all of which put him in a great position to launch his career. ~ Steve Leggett
