In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 8 years old, I auditioned for my first musical, School House Rock Live!, despite being incredibly anxious. However, a director's kindness and support helped me through, and making the play gave me the confidence to pursue music into adulthood. Ariana Grande, Sweetener Chappell Roan, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess Lady Gaga, The Fame Monster (International Deluxe) I strive to make music as fun, campy and emotional as Fame Monster! Chappell Roan has put us musical theatre girls in a chokehold with the amazing variety of sounds and songs. Sweetener by Ariana Grande puts me in such an inspiring mood to create!
