Care Bears On Fire

Channeling a sort of punk vibe from the late-1970s days of the Ramones, while keeping a family friendly pop attitude, Brooklyn female trio Care Bears on Fire are a sort of Runaways minus the seedy underbelly. Formed in 2005 when its three original members were in fifth grade, Care Bears on Fire were signed to a major label by the time Sophie, Izzy, and Jena were in their early teenage years. While its 2009 record GET OVER IT fit in with Disney's girl power brigade, the act's live shows retained an unbridled punk prescience beyond the threesome's years.
