About Angel Olsen

Influenced by her foster parents’ musical taste, Angel Olsen grew up listening to The Everly Brothers and Skeeter Davis.

∙ As a teen, Olsen learned to sing to the songs of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Destiny’s Child.
∙ In 2013, she released a one-off record with poet Martin Tate and former members of Wilco (Leroy Bach) and Cap’n Jazz (Tim Kinsella).
∙ Her early single “Windows” was notably used in the TV series 13 Reasons Why.
∙ For her breakthrough album, My Woman, she worked with producer Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira, Kim Gordon).
∙ She appeared on Mark Ronson’s album Late Night Feelings, which also featured performances by Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, and Lykke Li.
