New Jersey post-hardcore band Gatherers construct high-energy, melodic rock that's both confrontational and confessional. They formed in 2011 with singer Christian Berrigan, guitarists Austin Lipinski and Gianmarco Felix Guerra-Coletti, bass player Matt Popowski, and drummer Adam Cichocki. Originally calling themselves Gatherer, they released an EP, Postcards, in 2012 and the full-length Caught Between a Rock and a Sad Place in 2013 before replacing Berrigan with Rich Weinberger and changing their name to Gatherers for their sophomore LP.
