Float 2 London

K CAMP sounds free on his new project Float 2 London. His first album since exiting the major-label system was produced entirely by Trappin N London and recorded in the UK. Take “My Flowers”, for instance, which features NoCap and a guitar-led trap beat. On the cut, CAMP spits, “Superpowers, I done did 10,000 hours/Pain showers, never went out like no coward/305, I get love from there to Broward/Before I’m gone, I just pray I get my flowers.” Though the Atlanta-raised artist is often contemplative, he leaves plenty of space for flexes and turn-up anthems. On the SleazyWorld Go-assisted “Spend That Bag”, CAMP cues up a bass-heavy, menacing beat, accented by a chorus of female voices imploring him to “spend that bag.” K CAMP is more than happy to oblige.
