Boasting an abundance of finely crafted hooks and soul-stirring lyrics, Switchfoot have made the trek from Christian rock darlings to alt-rock superstars look effortless. After releasing a trio of albums geared toward the CCM scene, the group unveiled 2003's The Beautiful Letdown, a crossover smash littered with grungy guitar rockers (“Meant to Live”) and feathery, acoustic-tinged ballads (“Dare You to Move”).
