In the early ‘90s the South African house music scene felt a huge burst of energy. As the country started to look towards the future, so did a host of DJs and producers who were emerging from the increasingly vibrant club scene. Of those to appear in this period, perhaps the most celebrated is Oskido. Overseeing a range of projects over the last 20 years, he has done it all; from running a record label to hosting his own radio show—always with an ear for layering beats with melodic complexity.
