Motorpsycho's prolific career dates back to the late ‘80s, when fuzz and distortion defined the grunge explosion. While dissonance clearly influenced the early work of this Norwegian band, Motorspycho's later work is known for an impressive palette of textures that never collapse into uncontrolled cacophony. They have an impressive catalogue of studio albums (and still counting), but the genre of the band is hard to define. It's a delirious combination of heavy metal, psychedelia, and progressive rock with touches of krautrock and jazz.
