George Ezra Essentials

Hertford-born singer/songwriter George Ezra already had the husky yet honeyed baritone and self-assuredness of a veteran troubadour when he first stepped onto the Glastonbury Festival stage in 2013 as a 20-year-old. While his pipes may evoke an older soul, Ezra's charm lies in his youthful optimism, proven in rousing folk-pop anthem "Blame It on Me" and sunny, soulful reflections like "Budapest". Even as he incorporates more blues, gospel and soul, his charisma continues to shine through all of his songs, whether euphorically expressing love for a girl ("Paradise") or hope for humanity ("Pretty Shining People").
