The so-called “grandfathers of Mexican rock” El Tri came together in the late ‘60s as Three Souls in My Mind. Originally singing in English, the band split in 1985 and frontman Alex Lora reinvented the group as El Tri, adopting their native Spanish tongue so that his lyrics would be better understood by their audience. A number of hit singles including "Triste Canción" and "Vicioso del Rocanrol", raucous tours across the Americas and a Latin GRAMMY® award nomination garnered acclaim from fans and critics alike.
