D-A-D Essentials

Starting out with a mission statement to bring joyful, colourful performances to alternative rock, D-A-D formed in the early ‘80s. Since then, they've consistently released some of the most forward-thinking, progressive rock music in Denmark. Thriving on fun and melody in their early work, they kick-started immediate success with a mix of synth hooks and huge choruses. Their style has since expanded—as has their ear for a lasting melody—incorporating grungier guitars and the more refined lyrics of Jesper Binzer.
