In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents used to have this old reel to reel player,They loved to dance, so all the music was pretty upbeat. There was a tune by Merle Haggard that I loved. I was too young to know who it was at the time or what western swing even was, but loved it What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Asleep At The Wheel, The Very Best of Asleep At The Wheel - Since 1970 [Re-Recordings] Brandi Carlile, Brandi Carlile (Bonus Track Version) Randy Travis, Top Ten: Randy Travis Randy Travis - "Old 8x10" - He is hands down my favourite country singer ever. It's really hard to pick just one of his albums, Asleep at the Wheel - I have always loved AATW. Brandi Carlile - "Bear Creek" - It's such a spectacular album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Swingin’ from the Rafters (feat. Danny Michel & Rob Carli)” Swingin' From the Rafters is a song we wrote with Dean Brody. It has some darker imagery, but It's really fun to play live as well, even if I need to sing the first verse through a toilet paper tube. You have to come to a live show to figure out why. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We were called to play a private birthday party for Garth Brooks' manager Bob Doyle in Nashville. Among the guests in the audience were Garth himself, Trisha Yearwood, It was so surreal looking out and seeing these artists, dancing to our music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely. We want to play on the Grand ole Opry as The Western Swing Authority!
