State of Shock

About State of Shock

A Canadian hard rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, State of Shock got their first taste of success in a local rock talent show, and within four years were vying for their nation's highest musical honor. They released their first album, Guilty by Association, in 2004, but it was their second album that scored State of Shock the kind of success they were after. Released in 2007, Life, Love & Lies was a commercial and critical hit, with its single "Money Honey" cracking the Top Ten on a number of charts. They spent the following summer supporting heavyweights such as Nickelback and Puddle of Mudd. In 2008, State of Shock were nominated for the Best New Group of the Year Award at that year's Juno Awards ceremony. ~ Chris True
