In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. That would probably playing my first piano recital at 7 years old with a piece of mint in my eye that launched from my teacher's mouth. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band, Perceptual Kurt Rosenwinkel, The Remedy (Live at the Village Vanguard) Mark Turner Quartet, Lathe of Heaven These three albums have been incredibly inspiring to me. Fantastic players, great tunes. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ballard (feat. Alexander Hoholm, Raymond Lavik, Martin Sandvik Gjerde & Will Vinson)” This is one of those songs that just came about in a couple of hours, which is a great feeling. Usually you're pulling your hair for a while you know. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's hard to pin point one exactly, but I'd be tempted to say it must be one of those concerts where you just really get into a nice flow and just have fun. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is a lot, I want to make a trio album. I wan't to make many albums. I want to tour a lot more. There's lots of musicians I want to get a chance to play with.
