About London Choral Sinfonia

The London Choral Sinfonia, as the name promises, is a choral-orchestral ensemble. The London Choral Sinfonia was founded in 2015 by conductor Michael Waldron, who wanted to establish a small choral-orchestral group that could perform both early music and contemporary works. In 2019, the London Choral Sinfonia made its recording debut, releasing the holiday album O Holy Night. The London Choral Sinfonia has continued to record, issuing (as of 2022) three volumes of music devoted to composer Richard Pantcheff. The Sinfonia also issued the album Colourise in 2022, featuring a new version of Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending and a hitherto unrecorded work by Lennox Berkeley.
