In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a child, we had an old harmonium at home. Experimenting with the instrument was the first experience with music I remember. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alexandre Desplat, The Tree of Life (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Jóhann Jóhannsson, Orphée Max Richter, The Blue Notebooks Love the emotional strength and musical craft of these three albums. They have influenced my style of writing a lot. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “On The Nature Of Daylight” This song by Max Richter brought me into the modern classical world. I think it´s very emotional and has the power to evoke a lot of pictures and scenes in your head. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was the recording of a string orchestra last year. The result will be heard on my upocoming album. To hear the first notes played by the orchestra gave me goose bumps. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I´d like to compose a piano concerto in the near future.
