Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joni Mitchell, Both Sides Now Joni Mitchell, Travelogue The Doors, The Doors Both Sides Now is hands down my favorite. This is musical mastery in every way. Orchestration, arrangement, song choices and performance. Travelogue follows this as well. The Doors was just so innovative for rock at the time, something new. It started with a few lines. As I recorded it I kept adding different things ,such as a Polynesian chant, didgeridoo, etc. Went on to a Grammy nod and a bar in Honolulu named after it.
