Estricnina

Longtime friends and colleagues Juanito Makandé and El Canijo de Jerez were both enjoying great success as solo artists in 2016 when they decided to launch a joint project called Estricnina. Their original intention was to use Estricnina as an outlet for their most rock-oriented material, a blend of flamenco with prog rock and indie music. Produced by Alex Acosta, the duo's first album boasted the peculiar title Hemos Visto Cosas Que Harían Vomitar a un Murciélago ("We Have Seen Things That Would Make a Bat Throw Up").
