In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Having a friend of my mothers come over to the house to record me on a tape that required me to rap the song all in one take from beginning to end. Horrible! haha What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, The Off-Season Lupe Fiasco, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool (Deluxe Edition) Nas, It Was Written Nas - This was the first album I ever purchased. Nas spoke to me as an artist and I learned so much from him. Lupe - This album was iconic. It taught me how to use deep metaphors, wordplay etc. J.Cole - What ISN'T this project! PURE FIRE!!! Tell us why you chose this song. “In the Dark” This song is special to me because I produced, and wrote it during a time in my life where a relationship I was in was all a lie, my music/faith in my self was in question. I just felt like I didn't know where to go or what to do. I felt In the dark What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Over a decade of doing this and my most memorable moment was about a year ago when my music played on live television for the first time on VH1's "My Celebrity Dream Wedding" since then my music has been on Bel-Air, The Rookie Feds, Bally Sports, etc Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Build my following. I know there are a ton of people who have yet to hear my music, but I know once they do they will fall in love. I have something for everyone and I want my monthly listeners to reflect the skill that I know I possess!
