About BLACKSWAN

Originally set to debut in 2010 as the third generation of Baby V.O.X., the K-pop group now known as BLACKSWAN debuted as Rania in April 2011. Though the group were plagued with conflicting interests and yearly roster changes through the 2010s, they released a debut album, 2013's Just Go (Goodbye's the New Hello) and three EPs before rebranding to BP Rania in 2016. After being subject to a similar set of issues, BP Rania re-formed as BLACKSWAN in 2020. Comprised of Youngheun, Leia (formerly Larissa), Judy, and Fatou, the group closed the book on the Rania era with their 2020 debut album, Goodbye Rania, before moving into 2021 with their first single album, Close to Me.
