The opening title track and the previously released single “Punta Cana” set the tone for what comes next, all of which is sure to captivate his long-standing audience. Romantic themes naturally prevail here, whether he’s wrestling the sadness of “Amarte a la Antigua” or urging towards the more hopeful promise of “Pasemos a los Besos”. By contrast, “Ale Ale” shifts the focus from matters of the heart to matters of national pride, while the Pepe Aguilar team-up “Ojalá Te Duela” shakes things up by transitioning into a música mexicana mode.
