In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For me, music is the only true world language - and our world today needs more rest and balance than ever before. We live in a time full of stress, fear and uncertainty - and my music should help to calm down and get back to balance. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Friedrich Gulda, Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I Glenn Gould, Bach: Two and Three Part Inventions and Sinfonias, BWV 772-801 Lang Lang, Bach: Goldberg Variations (Extended Deluxe Edition) For me, Johann Sebastian Bach laid the origin of piano music - he was a genius at creating pieces with simple melodies that will be famous for eternity. I particularly appreciate his Inventions, the Well-Tempered Clavier and the Goldberg Variations. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Das Wohltemperierte Klavier: Book 1, BWV 846-869: Präludium C-Dur, BWV 846” I love the Prelude No. 1 in C Major, BWV 846 very much. The melody is so simple and yet so beautiful. When I play the Prelude, I feel transported back to the past and am also to the present. This music is immortal.
