In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I wrote a song about my stuffed dog in pre-school. I still remember it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope Tori Amos, Boys for Pele (Deluxe) These three records are constants for me. I return to them often, they fit a variety of moods, and they're formative to my own musical education. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Glory Hole” Everything about creating this song was a blast. I worked with multiple musicians, wrote the melody and lyrics myself, and it's found a little audience. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I sang with Kelly Clarkson's band during a taping of her TV show. It's on YouTube somewhere! Also, making my recent EP was one of the most creatively fulfilling things I've done to date. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Releasing a full-length album and going on tour.
