New York rapper David Bars lives up to his name, concentrating on intricate, determined wordplay and meaningful lyrics. He began self-releasing mixtapes in the early 2010s and continued honing his skills, gradually earning the attention of the legendary D.I.T.C. crew. He collaborated with Showbiz on 2019's Bars & Beats, worked with DJ Premier and Fat Joe on the same year's The Bar Code, and released Gunz x Bars with Cory Gunz in 2022.
