About As I Lay Dying

As I Lay Dying was formed by vocalist Tim Lambesis and drummer Jordan Mancino after their brief stints in hardcore band Point of Recognition. ∙ The buzz around their self-produced debut, Beneath the Encasing of Ashes, earned them a deal with legendary label Metal Blade. ∙ Their second album, Frail Words Collapse, sold 250,000 copies and featured live-show favorites “94 Hours” and “Forever.” ∙ In 2006, they headlined Sounds of the Underground, an Ozzfest-inspired tour that also featured In Flames, Gwar, and Cannibal Corpse. ∙ The band earned a Grammy nomination for “Nothing Left,” a single from their Top 10 album An Ocean Between Us. ∙ Following a three-year hiatus, the band reunited, releasing the single “My Own Grave,” which has garnered millions of streams.
