Chitãozinho & Xororó Essentials

Rooted in Latin-American folk, these Brazilian brothers were key players in the emergence of the sertanejo and are now recognised as icons of the genre. Their dulcet vocals mix like milk and honey as they share bittersweet tales of love and life—acoustic guitars and deft strings form the basis of their romantic, autobiographical songs. Since releasing their 1970 debut LP, Galopeira, the duo has seen their blend of traditional caipira country music and pop sell millions of records—breaking the genre on mainstream radio with songs like “Fio de Cabelo”.
