Hadi

While most of Sudan's politicized singers relocated to Egypt, Hadi bases himself in Canada, where, with members of Mohamed Wardi's former backing group, he produces bitterly satirical songs that mock the Islamic fundamentalists who rule his former home. ~ Leon Jackson
