About Naardie
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was doing grade 8 when a friend of mine played me a local rap/hip hop song by a local artist and I was so amazed by how he was able to flow on a beat, from that day on I knew I wanted to make music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Naardie, Dreams That Never Died Nasty C, Strings and Bling Priddy Ugly, E.G.Y.P.T Dreams That Never Died is my first ever project as an artist and its special to me a it marked a new journey in my life.Priddy Ugly's project both with Nasty C's have inspired my writing skills as a rapper as i've learnt a lot on song approach. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dreams That Never Died” This song reminds me of the hope I never lost as many things happened in my life delaying the process and release of my debut album. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I got featured on a local newspaper for being nominated for one of the Johannesburg's city awards. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I wanna have records with African and International artists
