About Jack Schneider

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first performance was at the Riverwood Auditorium in ATL when I was 9. The power went out at the school talent show, I accompanied myself on just an acoustic guitar without amplification. I sang the heck out of Neil Diamond’s “I’m A Believer"! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (Remastered) [Soundtrack from the Motion Picture] Gillian Welch, Soul Journey Favorite recorded works: Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, featuring 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' and mesmerizing guitar by Bruce Langhorne. Soul Journey by Gillian Welch stands out with its feel, instrumentation, and timbre. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Look Down” I wrote "Don’t Look Down,” in the midst of the pandemic as a reminder to keep a lookout at the miles ahead rather than being overwhelmed by the moment at hand. Recording that song with my childhood friend Liv Greene was a full circle moment. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Making my Grand Ole Opry debut was a dream come true. My childhood hero Vince Gill joined for heartfelt duet, singing 'This Old Guitar and Me.' Standing in the circle was a surreal full circle moment exceeding all expectations! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Top of the list would be to play traditional folk songs with Bob Dylan. Headlining a show at the Ryman would be insane. I’ve also dreamt of playing John Denver’s main guitar, a 1970 Guild F-50R, since I was a kid!
