No one can forget the silky old school harmonies of ‘90s R&B girl group En Vogue. Comprised of Dawn Robinson, Terry Ellis, Maxine Jones and Cindy Herron, the Oakland-based quartet sang about empowerment when the girls of Destiny's Child were still in grade school. Their 1990 debut, Born to Sing, was a commercial success, while their second album, Funky Divas, was even bigger and produced several huge singles. Robinson left the group during the making of their album EV3, but the remaining trio stayed intact to record another soulful smash.
