My earliest musical memory is watching the movie Purple Rain by Prince and watching Remember The Time by Michael Jackson. I knew early on then that I wanted to carry the cadence of those two artists that these two artists had vocally. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Prince, Controversy Wizkid, Made In Lagos These albums are so eclectic and different! I just love music that makes you feel good, and takes you to an entire different realm. They are also albums that identify with lyrically. I just appreciate music in its entirety. These are gems! I survived so much, and I'm grateful every day to still be alive. I was nearly killed by a mob of police and sustained a brain injury that caused me to have a seizure. I am now living with a 50/50 chance, so I wrote this song! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I got my first licensing deal with a major label for a song I did with Dawty Music under my former alias Nikko Sherard called 'Sky Blue.' I had no idea the single would release on the anniversary of Prince's death. Prince gave me his blessing! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? UNIVERSAL TOUR! I want to be the first artist to perform live in outer space! That would be so wavy!
