About Donna Vivino

Actress, singer, and dancer, Donna Vivino is an accomplished Broadway performer with a bent toward recording jazz-influenced pop and standards. A native of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Vivino was first introduced to music via her father, guitarist and longtime Conan O'Brien show bandleader Jimmy Vivino. A singer from a young age, she made her Broadway debut in 1987 as Young Cosette in the original Broadway cast production of Les Miserables. After graduating from Barnard College, Vivino continued her theatrical career, appearing in such off-Broadway productions as Grease and Stars of David. On Broadway, she appeared in such shows as Hairspray, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, and Wicked; she toured with the latter. In 2014, Vivino released her debut solo album, Beautiful Dreamer, which featured backing from her father, Jimmy Vivino, along with pianist/arranger Mitch Forman. ~ Matt Collar
