On A$AP Rocky's “Lvl", stuttering drums and biting rhymes are cut with wavering, atmospheric synths; the track feels poised to either dissipate into mist or reach a thunderous climax. The pinging rhythms and cooed melodies of Blood Orange's “No Right Thing” show that while Clams may have his head in the clouds, he can sometimes reach for daylight.
