About Sha'Leah Nikole

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My big brother Alfred Jackson always knew he wanted to sing. Me, not so much, but I think he secretly knew I wanted to sing too. I remember him always asking me to sing this duet we made when we were kids. I would say no, but always sing it with him! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, Never Say Never Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Each of these albums represent a piece of my personality. Brandy for the love of R&B, Lauryn Hill for the consciousness and awareness of beautiful black people in this country, & K Dot for my love of where I come from & God who is in everything I do. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tell the World” This is one of the first songs I released on Apple Music. Co-written and produced by my amazing friend D Smoke. It challenged me vocally and it made me push myself. Anyone who is a day 1 knows this songs and is in for a treat whenever I sing it live. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I performed at an event and When I got to my last song everyone was singing the words with me. I stopped singing and just listened to everyone. I was amazed they loved Tell The World that much, they loved it as much as I did. My heart was so full. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I cant wait until I am able to tour internationally. My music impacting people around the world is the goal, so being able to travel to these places where my music is impacting and inspiring people & perform a sold out show will be incredible.
