Friday frontman Trai Bhumiratna is an unabashedly sentimental songwriter. Channelling emotional, resonant themes through softly plucked acoustic guitars, his lead vocals are the centrepiece for sonic reveries in love and loss. Outside of his own performances, fellow bands—like Bodyslam and Pang Nakarin—have melded folk, funk and rock and influences with his compositions.
