Luis R. Conriquez is a songwriter, singer, and recording artist from Sonora, Mexico. A writer and performer of modern corridos and bandas, he recorded more than 100 songs between 2018 and 2021, spread over ten albums and a dozen singles including "El Buho." The first two volumes in his Corridos Bélicos series in 2020 and 2021 became international breakthroughs. 2022 saw two albums: a full-length collaboration with rapper Tony Aguirre titled Corridones Belicones Duetos in April, and Corridos Bélicos, Vol. 3 in November. In 2023 he was too busy to release an album, as he issued and/or collaborated on no less than 74 singles, among them appearing with Peso Pluma on the latter's Top Five smash "Su Casa." In January 2024, Conriquez delivered Corridos Bélicos, Vol. 4.
