About HIGHLIGHT

The South Korean boy band Highlight are a mature, refreshed incarnation of Beast, an R&B-tinged, pop-focused act that enjoyed three number one albums in their home country between 2011 and 2016. In early 2017, following Beast's departure from Cube Entertainment, they formed their own agency, Around Us, simultaneously changing their name to Highlight. Their debut mini-album under the new moniker, 2017's Can You Feel It?, included the South Korean number one single "Plz Don't Be Sad." Later that year, a second mini-album, Celebrate, featured another Top Five single, the bombastic "Can Be Better." However, 2018's Outro became their last release for a two-and-a-half-year period which saw each member called up for mandatory military service. They reconvened in 2021 to deliver The Blowing EP, ultimately releasing their debut full-length, Daydream, in 2022.
