About Brayton Bowman

Brayton Bowman is a singer and songwriter who fashions off-kilter, R&B-styled electropop. A native of Philadelphia, Bowman studied classical music at the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts before spending two years at the Berklee College of Music in Boston studying voice. He relocated to New York City in early 2015 and released the EP HERE/NOW, which introduced his confident, soulful vocals alongside funk and glitch-injected alternative dance. After uploading an electro-soul cover of Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time" that went viral, he was featured as a new artist to watch by Spin. He dropped The Update EP later in 2015, and co-wrote MNEK's single "At Night (I Think About You)," released in 2016. Bowman came back in 2017 with the mixtape 22 Minutes Later via his own Big Deb INC label. ~ Marcy Donelson
