In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 2017, I had just moved to Alberta and got a call to be the opener for Dan + Shay before they were huge. At the time I had about 3 songs written, so I "borrowed" unreleased songs from artist friends LOL. I hope one day to get a second chance now! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jameson Rodgers, Bet You're from a Small Town Keith Whitley, Don't Close Your Eyes Remastered Old Dominion, Happy Endings Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics. When I first listen to an album, I always read along with the lyrics as I listen. So many songs on these albums hit me right in the feels. I only listen to country music, so albums like these help me write relatable songs! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “About Last Night” As a writer, I am a big believer in "the best song wins". I write almost every song that I have released, but this one was written by some friends, and the first time I heard it, I said "you gotta let me record that". So grateful that they did! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been lucky to be the opener for some huge artists so far, like Zac Brown Band, Zach Bryan, Dan + Shay, but I'll never forget the day I got to play main stage at the Cavendish Beach Music festival back home in PEI. I have that picture on my wall. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Aside to music, travelling is my second biggest passion. I want to one day tour in other countries than USA and Canada. To play music for new crowds like that and see my music connect with people around the world would feel so rewarding.
