Nicolas Dupuis, the Canadian musician better known as Anomalie, makes complex yet grooving jazz-funk that incorporates hip-hop, EDM, and classical influences. He performs live with a four-piece band and has headlined sold-out tours on several continents, in addition to playing at both jazz and electronic festivals. After developing his sound and honing his abilities throughout the 2010s, Anomalie released two Métropole EPs, then collaborated with Chromeo on the 2020 EP Bend the Rules. Galerie, his 2022 full-length debut, featured guests like Masego and Shad, and the brief, Christmas-themed Holidays appeared in 2023.
