Smif-N-Wessun Essentials

Smif-N-Wessun continued Boot Camp Click's hot streak with 1995's Dah Shinnin. Backed by BCC production team Da Beatminerz, Tek and Steele issued streets-approved gems like the Brooklyn Anthem, “Bucktown” and “Sound Bwoy Burreill”—which found the combo trading bars with a dancehall-inspired delivery.  Smif changed their name to Cocoa Brovaz for their sophomore LP in 1998 but returned with their original moniker on their third offering.
