It's hard to imagine better representatives for seaside life than Efecto Pasillo. The Canary Islands quartet have refined their summery mix of reggae-inflected rock en español since 2007. Beginning with the funk rock workout "Chacho", they've showcased Ivan Torres' singalong choruses and Nau Barreto's hooky guitar notes, and a repertoire that includes the dancehall-influenced Barrio Las Banderas and the Caribbean pop vibes of Tiembla la Tierra. Efecto Pasillo's sunshine sound transports fans to the Spanish beach--cocktail in hand.
