In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. This is so tough to answer for us cause we all come from very different backgrounds. But what I can tell you is that live music is what we live for, and the first concerts we went to definitely sowed the seeds for our love of music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brooks & Dunn, Brand New Man Chris Stapleton, Traveller Eric Church, Desperate Man All big influences on us in different ways: Brand New Man was a fishing boat favourite for Mat and his Dad, Traveller melted our brains with a vocal performance we'd never heard in mainstream country, and Desperate Man is unapologetically original. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rebel Phase” This is the song that got us signed and was the first single we released signed to that record label. It was a game changer for us. It's all about following your dreams and living far off on the horizon of what's considered normal; kinda fitting. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A very special night for us was when we hosted our first charity event raising money for the Kidney Foundation of Canada. It's a charity that has helped Mat directly, so being able to give back was very important for us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We've said it since the day we started this band, we'd LOVE to open for Eric Church. The way he approaches his writing and live performances has been an inspiration for us. He does it all with a mystery and charisma that makes it 100% uniquely him.
