Lola Club is a pop/rock and reggae band formed in Mexico City in 2015 by Héctor Villareal (vocals), Alejandro "Strecci" Fernández (bass), Eduardo Martell (guitar), Herman Nunes (guitar), and Ricardo Gochez (drums). Villareal had previously appeared in the hit talent contest La Voz México in 2013, while Fernández was a popular YouTuber. Following the latter's example, the band began by gathering followers on social media and soon enough were able to land a record deal. Homónimo, Lola Club's debut album, hit the stores in November 2016.
